Antique 1800s sterling silver horseshoe and clover lucky brooch

This beautiful 19th century collectible antique brooch is from an estate of very fine antique and vintage jewelry from a Philadelphia family. This piece is a fabulous 1 and 1/4 by 1 and 1/2 inch pin that is marked LRD August 5 1880! One of our favorite little brooches here at dress! In addition to wearing them as traditional brooches, a lot of people are re-purposing brooches as hair ornaments, purse or belt embelishments, and as pendants attached to chains! The possibilities are endless! This pin has c clasp closure, but also has hooks which makes it much more versatile!
