Wedgwood jasperware sterling silver antique ring

I've tried to research the mark on this ring but hope that someone out there who is more of an expert in Wedgwood than I, will know what it means! This is definitely a much older ring and the blue jasperware is a little darker than it appears in the photos. Marked with WEDGWOOD and what appears to be the single letter X. This ring is pre-1860, but I'm not sure of the year. Ring is a size 5 and the face measures 1/2 by 1 inch. Beautiful detailed silver work!
