Incredible silver mesh Whiting and Davis handbag. from the early 1940's. No problems found and the bag includes a separate zip bag that could be used for cosmetics or change, but was probably originally meant to hold cigarettes. The spectacuar thing about this bag is the rhinestone clasp that is truly brilliant.
This is from one of our estates and is one of the more beautiful 20th Century Whiting and Davis bags I've seen.
