Vintage Early 1950’s Hattie Carnegie Lambswool Hat

This vintage lambswool hat bears the Hattie Carnegie label and the Nicholas Ungar label.

If you aren't familiar with it, Nicholas Ungar was a store in Portland Oregon that catered to prominent fashion conscious women and until recently, still operated its fur store in downtown Portland.

You will find that many of the collectible garments found in the Northwest will bear the Nicholas Ungar or Nordstrom Best labels.

This lambswool hat is 20” in circumference, fully lined with taffeta and has a velvet dome top. This hat comes with a rhinestone pin that is really beautiful!.
