Black & white checked party dress

From the estate of a 1950’s fashion lover who wore dresses by Harvey Berin, Nettie Rosenstein, Claire Mc Cardell, Tina Leser and Mollie Parnis.  This is a very collectible dress and is in excellent condition.  Vintage dresses like this one are such a treasure!! The only problem I can find is that the belt is a little yellowed.  Ms Parnis’ earlier dresses had her name on the back of the belts, which is the case with this piece.  Pretty capped sleeves and micro velvet trim on the bodice and around the covered buttons.  Pretty rhinestone pin.  Full skirt and is shown here with crinoline underneath, which is not included.

Bodice:  17” from base of neck to waist
Skirt:      30” from waistline
