Gold Silk smocked 1920s Vintage dress

Another beautiful vintage dress from an estate of 20s and 30s clothing we were fortunate to handle. This dress is from the late 1920s or early 1930s. Gold Silk with smocking on the cuffs, neckline and waist. We have a Champagne silk dress just like it in a slightly smaller size with red smocking. This one is marked slightly lower than the other one because we found a 1/2 inch spot on the skirt and a few scattered pin sized spots throughout. Though we usually clean all of our garments, I didn't try to remove these spots. The dress is wearable as is, but it would be up to the buyer to have it cleaned. There is also a weak spot in the fabric near arm seam that is starting to tear. Though we believe these dresses were never worn, they can still develop spots in storage.
