Vintage late 60s or early 70s silk polka dot two piece Vera Maxwell designer dress
Most likely purchased in the early 1970s at Lord and Taylor, this vintage silk polka dot two piece dress is simply fabulous! From designer Vera Maxwell, this is a cream silk 2 piece dress with black polka dots. The wrap top has dolman sleeves and the pleated full skirt has a nylon zipper. The Vera Maxwell logo is on the hanger loops of the skirt and the outfit also has the vintage Lord and Taylor label. Though it is a skirt and top, it has the effect of a dress, so we are listing it in the dress section. Can be worn simply as shown in the daytime, or dressed up wiht jewelry for a dinner dress! Price reflects very tiny pin dot sized hole in fabric in the back near nape of neck, otherwise excellent condition.
