Cocktail Dress
You will love th pretty black chiffon ruffles on the heart shaped bodice of this 50's party dress! You can almost see Fred Astaire if you dance in this pretty cocktail party lace dress. This dress is on consignment from a couple who asked Dress to sell it for them. It belonged to Ginger Rogers and they acquired it from her former roommate. Unfortunately, there is no documentation and no photos can be found of her wearing the dress, so we can't authenticate its ownership. But the people who consigned it to me are 100% confident that it belonged to Ginger herself! There are some breaks in the lace in several places and the dress originally had a matching belt that can be sent with the dress but has deteriorated. !
