Designer Dress
Never worn! This dress is from an estate we purchased privately that included many pieces by Claire McCardell, Clare Potter, and Ceil Chapman. This 1950's sleeveless dress is from Townley which was the company for which Claire McCardell designed. Still has red thread basting for hem and was never worn! The color is really a dark periwinkle and any white areas in photos are just the camera! Perfect little bows up the front, front side slit pockets, and fully lined (in linen/wool blend?). Just beautiful!
