Little Black Dress

From the designer who promoted the “little black dress” and knew how to turn simplicity into extraordinary, comes this exceptional 1950's evening gown.  The bateau neckline drapes across the shoulders and has a unique sash lined in pink satin that snaps onto the bodice. Front zipper and pretty flared skirt.  It is perfectly fitted at the waist and the ballerina skirt makes it perfect for an evening event.  It is in very good condition with two issues; some very faint yellow spots on one of the pieces of pink satin and a slight seam separation at the waistline (easily repairable). The dress can be worn so that the sash shows only black with a hint of pink, as shown on the photo pages. Nettie Rosenstein is our featured designer so please read more about her in that section so that you can understand why owning one of her garments is so special. I have this listed as a formal dress, but it is really more of a tea length, so could easily be a cocktail party dress. This is an exquisite dress and you will be so fortunate to own vintage clothing designed by Ms. Rosenstein!
