Early 1940s candlelight silky satin wedding gown with lace pop up collar
We love vintage wedding gowns! This one is a beauty with fabulous lace pop up collar and gathered puff sleeves that end in a point with covered buttons. The dress is beautifully made and the only real issue is that the buttons have darkened with time (one is missing) and should probably be replaced. The satin covered buttons are easy to find and I've adjusted the price by $100 so that you can hire a seamstress to sew them on for you. I don't do any alterations to any of my garments, other than cleaning and pressing or steaming them, because many vintage collectors want them in their original condition. This dress is from the very late 1930s or earliest part of the 1940s and has so much style. Email us with any questions about particular measurements you need or any other details you might need.
