Lovely late 1950s evening gown from London designer Norman Young

This is a lovely vintage dress in rasberry with roses and leaves in a lighter, irridescent shade of pink! The bodice has a built in tulle bra and there are pretty rosettes at the waist in the back. There is a back 14" metal zipper, the bodice is satin lined, and the dress is lined in a fine mesh. The straps need to be re sewn as they are starting to pull away, as shown in photos ( They may have even been added later and the dress might have originally been strapless). There are a couple of small wear spots under one of the arms, not holes, but breaks in thread, as shown. A beautiful dress! Shown with an additional crinoline.
