Adaptation Chanel Paris Vintage 1930s Bias cut silk chiffon dress
This beautiful dress is a rare find! During the 1930s, Coco Chanel created dresses like these in France, but she would also sell limited numbers of her designs and fabrics to designers to be sold as adaptations of her own creations. This gorgeous vintage dress is one of those pieces. They are very hard to find and are truly beautiful representations of Chanel's designs and of the era itself. The technique of applying floral appliques on silk chiffon was done by Chanel in the 1920s and 1930s. This dress is cut on the bias and has sensational ruffled navy chiffon and a navy chiffon sash that can be tied in a knot or bow. Excellent condition!
