Vintage Edwardian wedding dress with beautiful lace

This is an exceptional vintage Edwardian cotton dress with tone on tone patterned fabric and gorgeous lace. The dress snaps up the front but has a full row of tiny covered decorative buttons up the front of the bodice. There are beautiful lace panels on the bodice and lace inset in the skirt. The fabric is a sheer cotton with a tone on tone pattern. We've shown the dress both with and without a satin ribbon around the waist. We'd be happy to include one for your if you want to have one to wear with this beautiful dress. It would make a lovely wedding gown for the bride who wants to wear something a little different on her special day! There are a couple of issues to mention, which are reflected in the price. The first of these being that someone repaired a tear right next to the snaps on the side of the skirt. It would be easy to have a seamstress repair it and incorporate the area into the snap section so that it would no longer be visible. I am not a seamstress so I never do repairs but allow room in the price for the buyer to do so. We found a small hole in the netting that forms the hemline of the dress that is very hard to see and doesn't detract at all. This is a beautiful, wearable vintage dress with exceptional detail!
