1920s Vintage Beaded Silk Chiffon Flapper dress

We pride ourselves in only selling items that are in mint or near mint condition, but sometimes, with the beaded 1920s dresses, we make exceptions and offer dresses that need work or repair. This dress is one of those exceptions and the price reflects the flaws and condition!
This vintage 1920s two piece dress was obviously a higher end piece in its day and the beading is gorgeous. But.. the flaws are as follows: staining and discoloration at the bottom of the underslip, a few light spots on skirt, large tear in back of slip, small tear in chiffon around arm opening under one arm and large tear under other arm. The biggest flaw is that the center from has a tear where the rhinestones are attached. I'm sure that a good seamstress could put more rhinestones on this area after repairing it and it could be camouflaged. I purchased it from an estate auction in hopes of offering it to my customers who are future bridse for a vintage wedding gown option and was so sad to see that the front had the tear. Needless to say, I paid much more for it than I am asking..If only I could sew!
Dress would be amazing if restored to its original splendor, and the price gives the buyer plenty of room to work with!
