When I purchased this gown from an estate, I was told that this dress was custom made in Paris in the 50s by a French couture designer. Unfortunately, there is no label! It has an amazing sash with a bow that somehow snaps onto the dress. I have had a hard time figuring out how to make it work, but it is an exquisite gown in amazing condition. I've tried to show some of the hand sewn details in the additional photos. Obviously high end, rasberry brocade satin with lined bodice and skirt, and a tulle flounce below the waist. Pleated in the front and the back with a back metal zipper. It was worn only once and as with most of the Dress vintage clothing, it is in excellent condition!
