Vintage early 1950s or late 1940s Slipper satin wedding gown with lace over dress and beaded cap with veil
Vintage early 1950's or late 1940s slipper satin strapless wedding gown with lace over dress. From one of our estates of vintage clothing, this dress was sealed in its box until we opened it to photograph it for the site. Exquisite champagne satin strapless gown with "points" at the bodice, "boning", and a side metal zipper. Fitted natural waist with a drop waist line below. The white lace and fine tulle over dress buttons up the back and has 14" lace trim. The strapless gown could be worn for the reception without the lace over dress as an alternative to buying a reception dress, which is becoming more and more popular. The veil has a matching slipper satin cap and the same tulle as the over dress. The cap is 12" across on the inside and 8 inches from the front to the back. This vintage wedding ensemble is perfect for the bride who wants something out of the ordinary!
