Vintage 1940s suit red polka dot dress with jacket
WARNING: Buying Vintage 1940s clothing is addictive once you start! The 40s were full of fabulous rayon prints and the styles looked good on almost any figure! This is a wonderful wartime 2 piece dress suit. The dress is red with black polka dots with a black rayon belt (belt shows wear and I'm not sure it's original, as it seems to be too large to be, but could be worn as is or replaced with any simple black belt). It has beautiful detailed pleating at the shoulders as shown on the additional photos page. The double breasted blazer / jacket has the same red with black polka dot rayon lining and the label "styled by Sacson" sewn in. The dress is in excellent condition - really lovely. Side metal zipper. The jacket is in very good condition and has no flaws that I can find. Wonderful 1940s styling!
