Rare Vintage late 1950s Clare Potter designer skirt suit

From one of our very finest estates of vintage clothing and accessories. I hesitate to ever sell any of our Clare Potter pieces because she is a personal favorite of mine. But I am starting to slowly reallize that I need to let them go and not be a Clare Potter hoarder! This suit is simply sublime in a fiery orange/red wool with slim skirt and cropped jacket. Typical of Clare Potter, the color was rare for the time period, especially in suits, and she always used color in the most interesting ways. The skirt has diaganal front/side slit pockets and side metal zipper with hooks and eyes. The jacket is weighted at the sides, has dolman with upturned cuffs and front lapel faux pockets. Fully lined ,in mint condition and possibly never worn.
