Sadly, Bill Blass closed it's doors recently, and that marked the end of a long design history for the designer's famous name. He designed for Maurice Rentner during the 60's before acquiring the company in the late 60's and changing the name to Bill Blass ltd. in the early 70's. This dress suit is unworn and still unhemmed.By Bill Blass for Maurice Rentner, this 2 piece suit is from the estate of a woman who had beautiful American designer clothing from the 50's, 60's and 70's. This dress has a satin blouse bodice, fitted waist and gently pleated skirt. The short boxy jacket can be worn with jeans too! Excellent condition!
