HOSTESS OUTFIT
Hostess outfits are all the rage and this one is one of the reasons why! 2 piece 1940's lounge set in black and rasberry. Bias cut skirt and bolero style top with long sleeves. The top doesn't have a closure but one could easily be added, either a snap or ribbon tie would be nice. Or just wear it open with a camisole underneath! I'm showing it with a 30's lace bralet just so my mannequin doesn't bare all! The gorgeous pink and black contrasting pattern is fabulous.
Overall very good condition but there are a couple of things that need to be mentioned. There are two pin sized holes near the waist of the skirt in the back. The top is actually reversible to solid black, as shown in the additional photos, but when reversed, there is a worn spot on the cuff and a tiny hole in the front, so I am not "advertising" it as reversible.
There is a side metal zipper and there are no manufacturer labels. Exceptional outfit!
