Vintage Edwardian Embroidered Silk Robe

Exceptionl Vintage Edwardian robe with exquisite embroidery. Cream silk with 10" panels of embroidery at the cuffs of the sleeves, the hemline, and on the collar. From the late teens, this is just joo pretty to wear only at home! You could incorporate it into your wardrobe as a coat or jacket easily! 43 inches long from nape and fits up to 40 inch bust if closed right where edges of fabric meet. The sleeves are 24" long. The robe is in very good condition, which is surprising because these are often found with shredding to the silk. We found two small pin holes under the back collar (don't show when worn) and some fabric stress in that same area as well. A beautiful piece of vintage clothing!
