Hostess pajama outfit
We absolutely Love this 2 piece tone on tone striped rayon satin and taffeta? hostess pyjama set from the 40's. It is a gorgeous shade of rasberry pink and black with a black sash and lovely covered buttons. High waisted pants with side buttons. The outfit appears to have never been worn, but does have 2 very small holes that need to be mentioned. One doesn't show at all because it is on the shoulder and the shoulder pad of the same pink is underneath-I only found it after photographing it. The other hole is next to a small "rough spot" on the lower front portion of the top. Neither detract from the beauty of this extraordinary set. I try to only list things that are near mint, but with some of the older pieces that are pretty amazing, I make exceptions when I think that they can still be worn. The price reflects the mentioned issues, so someone will be getting an amazing deal!
