Vintage silk watercolor stripe 1970s maxi skirt

We have searched this fabulous skirt for a label many times but the only one found is the one that says "front" sewin in the front of the skirt. This beautiful vintage 1970s maxi skirt came from an all time favorite estate. Everything the woman owned was either couture, designer, or one of a kind pieces. She collected Clare Potter, Ceil Chapman, Chanel, Givenchy and YSL from the 1950s through the 1970s. This skirt has a side nylon zipper and hook and clasp similar to those used by both Givenchy and YSL. It is lined with teal silk and gathered at the waist. Excellent, as close to mint condition as vintage can be! Stephanie is wearing it with a vintage angora sweater and a white fur muff. But it could easily be a formal skirt if paired with a formal top and accessorized with the appropriate jewelry! One of our favorites!
